A diverse group of experienced and professional owners are standing for election at the upcoming AGM to represent your voice and interests by bringing transparency, accountability, and stability to OC 1–4. We value open communication, financial responsibility, and long-term planning that protects everyone’s investment.
We’re hosting two meet-and-greet sessions where owners can meet the proposed new committee members, ask questions, and share ideas to help build an effective OC.
Session 1: Thursday, 6 November — 7:00 pm
Location: Zoom
Registration: You will receive an email from Zoom within the next few days containing your registration link.
Session 2: Sunday, 9 November — 4:00 pm
Location: Level 70 Skyrise Lounge
Registration: Not required — all lot owners are invited.

Kim is a Skyrise lot owner and resident. Kim is an experienced executive leader with a strong commercial, legal, and governance background. Kim has committee and industry experience and brings with her valuable insights. She has a passion for making a difference, doing what is right for owners, and creating a sense of community. Kim’s skill set and pragmatic approach to strategy, problem solving, and issue resolution make her a great addition to the A108 team.
Desiree is a Skyrise resident and serves as proxy for her husband, Nathan Varano. She has successfully owned and managed businesses in both Japan and the United States for over 20 years, demonstrating her extensive experience in business and leadership. She took the initiative to manage the Australia 108 Community Facebook page, showing her commitment to fostering connection and engagement among residents. She values transparency and is passionate about building a strong, tight-knit community. Desiree vows to keep owners up to date, ensuring that no one ever has to wonder what decisions are being made behind the scenes. Her proactive approach, community focus, and dedication to open communication make her a trusted and reliable voice.
Belinda has owned and lived in the building for six years and is one of the first-ever residents of Australia 108. Her career has spanned hospitality, recruitment, and sales. Over the past two decades, Belinda and her partner have successfully run their own tech company. This experience has taught her the value of good communication, problem solving, and managing a P&L — skills she has applied not only in her professional life but also during her four years as Treasurer of the St Kilda Sports Club, where she transformed the club from a revenue-losing organisation to a profitable one. As a current member of OC 1–4, Belinda is familiar with the challenges faced by the committee and the opportunities to build a strong community that provides an optimal living experience for all residents. Belinda brings a deep passion for the building, and like the other proposed OC candidates, her overarching goal as a committee member is to deliver what is best for the building, its investors, and its community, ensuring Australia 108 remains Australia’s premier residential building.
Rani has owned and lived at Australia 108 with her young family for three years and is keen for the community we build together to remain focused on what is best for the residents and our investments as owners. Rani has spent her career working in financial services in both the UK and Australia. Rani’s broad experience of working with diverse clients, handling large and complex software sales, contracts, and programs provides a transferable commercial skillset, which will support our OC in achieving its goals and objectives for you. As a group, we all hold the same values in terms of being open with communication and share a commitment to working with you to make the building, our investments, and our community at 108 something we can all be proud of.
David is a Cloudrise lot owner and resident. He owns a dry cargo shipbroking business and manages a team of 12. With experience leading successful teams in both Europe and Australia, David works with clients around the world — from individuals to listed multinational companies. He is skilled in negotiating and managing contracts of all sizes. Valuing time and clarity, he believes in a direct and transparent approach to communication. David is passionate about his home at A108 and is committed to ensuring the owners committee acts in the best interests of all lot owners — whether Skyrise or Cloudrise — keeping everyone informed and involved in decisions that affect their homes.
